Production Indices


Pego Thermal Power Plant has two electricity generating units, each equipped with a steam generator (boiler), turbine-alternator and associated auxiliaries and capable of producing 314 MW (628 MW in total).

Under full load conditions, and with an average of 99% availability, the Pego Thermal Power Plant guarantees an annual production of approximately 5 million MWh.

This annual production capacity represents approximately 11% of the electrical energy consumed in Portugal.
