With an MSc in Mechanical Engineering, a Diploma in Management Studies and undertook the Global Leadership Development Programme at London Business School.Joined the Electricity Supply Industry in 1990 working for EDP in Portugal and has held various positions working for Pegop and National Power in the UK. Since May 2000 he has been a Director of Tejo Energia and Pegop. Currently he is the Managing Director of both companies.

Graduated in Economics by the Universidad Complutense of Madrid (Spain). He started his career with Banco de Santander and in 1985 joined Endesa, where he has been involved in a number of areas, as Controller, Investor relations, Financial Director of Endesa Internacional, Administration and Financial Director of Endesa Europa, and Endesa Trading. In February 2003 he was appointed Technical Director of Tejo Energia.

Joined Tejo Energia in March 1994 as Assistant to the Technical Director. He previously worked in several big industrial projects in Portugal and abroad doing Coordination of Construction, Site Management, Contract Management and Quality Assurance. He was appointed as Tejo Energia's Technical Manager in 1999. He is a graduated Mechanical Engineer by Instituto Superior Técnico (Lisbon) and is an approved auditor in Environment and Safety.

Attended the Universidad Complutense in Madrid (Spain) and graduated in 1994 as an Economist. Started her career working at The Spanish Government Commercial Office in Sydney (Australia) for 1 year, as Foreign Trade Advisor, before joining Tejo Energia, SA in 1995 as Assistant to the Commercial Manager. She obtained a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) by Universidade Católica Potuguesa (Lisbon) in 1999. In March 2000 she was appointed Tejo Energia’s Commercial Manager.

Joined Pegop in 1993 as Financial Officer. He previously worked for Colgate-Palmolive and General Motors during his finance career. João is a Management graduate by Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Lisbon), where he also obtained a MBA in International Management. He was appointed as Tejo Energia’s Finance Manager in August 2001.
